1/2 Law, 1/2 Gospel

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the
Spirit reap everlasting life.

Day 8 (26th)

Sue's getting converted:)
Treasure!!!
Sue & I washed the truck this afternoon
Sue bearing with my sunset picture taking

The first two pics are from yesterday. We had the microwave for the first time so we made popcorn. The one of dad with that thing is because he found a box under the bed and didn't know what was in it. He finally opened it and there were these weird pieces like the one in the picture. Well, a repair man came today & we showed him and he knew what they were. Chess pieces:) The pieces were huge!

Today we went down to the pool for about an hour and then tried to go to Makena. As you can see in the video, it was raining so we went to another beach. We then came back and cleaned...the house. We also washed the car. Someone thought it would be fun to put soap in my flip-flops. Ya.... Sue went with me one last time to take sunset pics. We then walked all the way to Tutti Frutti's and got a yogurt. Full day for sure but relaxing. I'm so ready to come home to everyone.

Day 7 (25th)

Old TV area repaired
Microwave
The bathrooms are done
Bathroom & Closet
Getting ready for the big rug

The rug is really nice!

At Daniel's room hooking up the Wifi. It works!!!

Today we finished almost all the painting. We had the bathrooms, trim & the three posts by the kitchen to do. Mom decided she wanted the posts tan instead of brown. We now need to paint the white square on the red wall where the old tv used to be. We got all that painting done by 12 and went down to the pool area till 3:30. It was nice & hot! The microwave is finally in place as well. We can now have microwaved popcorn!!!:) We also got the big rug for the living room. It definently adds a nice touch. Getting that in place was quite the show. We had dinner and then went down to Daniel & Kaylee's and hooked up the wifi. We're down to small details now. I think this was the first day that was 1/2 way relaxing.

Day 6 (24th)

Day 5 (23rd)

Bathroom (Before)
New color
Getting the couch at Costco
Sitting on the part of the couch we picked up.
Red hill

We almost got the bathrooms all painted this morning. We then went to Costco to get the couch while Dad stayed back and worked with an electrician. Getting the couch in the house was crazy. We we're all tired & couldn't stop laughing and well...when holding a couch up, laughing doesn't make it any easier. Dad was the only one thinking straight. After that I tried to hook up the cable and wifi. I have to get a few more things to finish it tomoro. We went on the Boardwalk this evening & that was fun. Took lots of pictures. Tomorrow we are gona try to go Up Country. Hopefully the lavender trees are still blooming.

Day 4 (22nd)

The dresser, two nightstands & the bed arrived today

Mom taking the shade down to clean it
Painting the last wall in the living room
Clean curtains and shades
Patio furniture
Fisherman at Makena
Sunset from last night
Tonight's sunset

This morning we had to get the bedroom painted before 10 so that the man with the bed, nightstands & dresser could deliver them. We got that done in time, cleaned the floor & laid out the rug where the bed would be going. We also finished most of the trim & painted the last wall in the living room. We're pretty much all done with the painting now. We're still waiting on the couch, but besides that, a lot of things are delivered and done. We're gona paint the bathrooms tomoro, clean up and then take the rest of the day off. Today we we're out in the sun for awhile and, well...there's a reason there's no pictures of us after:) I miss everyone and will be really ready to be back when the time comes. Sitting at the pool with no one splashing me or chanting my name, well...let's just say the time goes by alot slower. Without the people, Maui...is just another place. We're having a profitable time tho. We will probly go to the beach on Sunday & as you can see, I'm taking lots of pictures.
