My sin, oh the joy of this glorious thought
My sin not in part but the whole
Was nailed to the cross
And I bear it no more
Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord,
Oh my soul
I know Ruth. I can hardly ever sing that verse in church without welling up. At times it seems that the incredible vastness of God's grace, mercy, and love for us takes more faith to receive and believe than His law.
Good news Ruth! Bless you : )
ReplyDeleteAmen!
ReplyDeleteSee you soon, Ruth!
The Gospel is the only thing that sounds to good to be true, and actually is true.

ReplyDeleteI'm with Leah, I can hardly ever sing this without getting teary-eyed. God takes our sin, all of it, and we bear it no more. Praise the Lord!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know you had a blog by the way - it's very edifying :)
